Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. diced and cooked potatoes
    1/2 diced yellow onion
    1 can Cheddar cheese soup
    2 Tbsp. garlic salt
    2 Tbsp. pepper
    1 c. whole milk
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender.
    Add onion, garlic salt, pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes.
    Turn burner down to lowest setting and add remaining ingredients. Stir constantly to prevent scorching.
