Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coarse oats
1 c. crushed flakes
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. raw peanuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg, oil, vanilla and salt; mix well.
Add oats, flakes and peanuts; stir well.
Add flour. Drop by
small
spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until
slightly
brown.
Bake
15 minutes.
Yields 5 or 6 dozen. Cool before removing from sheet.
