Finnish Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. finely chopped blanched almonds
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add the flour and blend well. Shape into 1 x 1 1/2-inch sticks.
    Dip into beaten egg.
    Roll in almonds.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 4.
