Santa'S Whiskers Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. chopped red and green candied cherries
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    In mixing bowl cream together butter and sugar.
    Blend in milk and vanilla.
    Stir in flour, cherries and pecans.
    Form dough into 2 rolls, each 2 inches in diameter and about 8 inches long.
    Roll them in coconut.
    Wrap in waxed paper.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Slice into 1/4 inch thick pieces and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
