Lemon Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix flour, confectioners
sugar and butter and press firmly into an 8 x 8-inch cake pan.
Bake 20 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Beat eggs, sugar, lemon juice and rind, baking powder and flour until fluffy.
Pour over baked crust and return to oven for 25 minutes. Glaze with a little butter frosting while still warm.
Makes 12 to 16.
