Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. raisins
    1/2 c. bourbon (wine or fruit juice could be substituted)
    3/8 c. margarine
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 lb. diced candied citron or mixed fruits
    1 lb. whole candied cherries, half red and half green, quartered
    1 lb. pecans, broken
Preparation
    Mix raisins and bourbon and let stand 1 hour.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; mix.
    Add mixed dry ingredients and mix until well blended.
    Stir in raisin mixture.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    These keep for weeks or may be frozen.
