Sweet And Sour Pork Or Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork or ham steak
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    milk
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 (13 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve liquid)
    1/3 c. water
    1 green pepper, cut into strips
    1 onion, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Cut meat into strips.
    Sprinkle with
    paprika
    and brown in hot oil over medium heat.
    Cook 3 to
    5
    minutes
    or
    until tender.
    Drain and push meat to one side.
    Combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt in bowl.
    If necessary, add enough water to the pineapple syrup to make 2/3 cup.
    Then add
    this
    liquid to the
    vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce
    and\twater.\tAdd all
    this to the dry ingredients and stir
    until
    smooth.
    Pour into the skillet and cook over low heat.
    Add
    a little milk if it gets too thick.
    Finally, stir in
    pineapple,
    pepper strips and onion and cook 8 to 10 minutes until
    vegetables are tender but crisp.
    Do not overcook.
    Serve over rice.
