Sticky Buns(Breakfast Quick Breads) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine water, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of butter. Dissolve sugar and bring to a boil over high heat.
    Reduce heat and cook for about 10 minutes until it looks like maple syrup.
    Let it cool.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt into bowl.
    Work in 4 tablespoons of butter.
    Pour in milk.
    Work flour and milk until medium-firm dough.
    Knead dough on floured surface until smooth. Roll out about 3/4-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Grease a 10-inch cake pan with 1 tablespoon melted butter.
    Pour cooled syrup and sprinkle nuts evenly over pan, then arrange dough in pan. Bake for 20 minutes in 370\u00b0 oven or until top is golden brown. Remove from oven and invert onto plate.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 12.
