German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 peck small new potatoes
    1 onion, minced
    3/4 c. celery, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. bacon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets.
    Peel while hot and cut in bite size pieces.
    Add onion, celery and salt and pepper.
    Dice bacon and brown.
    Remove bacon bits and leave 2 tablespoons fat in skillet. Add butter, flour and sugar.
    Blend well and add vinegar and water.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Pour over hot potatoes and mix well. Serve.
