Sour Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chuck roast
    flour
    onion
    1/2 garlic pod
    salt
    pepper
    1/4 c. pickling spice, tied in bag
    light vinegar
    water as needed
Preparation
    Flour roast, salt, pepper and brown, then add ingredients.
    Add water as needed.
    Cook about 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
    May make gravy by after cooking roast, thicken juice with flour.
