Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, except butter and cheese, and spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with melted butter and crushed corn flakes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
    Can be made the day before.
