Extra Good Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. cake flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening really well.
    Add sugar and cream well again. Add eggs, one at a time.
    The secret of this cake is beating good after each egg.
    Add vanilla and flour.
    Beat well.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until done.
