Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 or 9 qt. popcorn, popped
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, salt, Karo syrup and vanilla.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add baking soda.
    Stir well.
    Pour over popcorn and stir thoroughly.
    Put on baking sheet or in roaster and bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
