Russian Tea - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    1 Tbsp. each: cloves and allspice
    2 sticks cinnamon
    1 1/2 lb. sugar or to taste
    1/4 c. tea leaves or 2 family tea bags
    2 ginger roots
    3 lemons
    3 oranges
Preparation
    Put spices in bag and boil in water until strong.
    Remove bag and drop in tea bags for a few minutes.
    Add sugar and pour into mixture the juice of 3 lemons and 3 oranges.
    The flavor is improved by letting lemon rind stand in mixture for a few minutes while hot.
    Serves 25.
