Hot Shrimp Cocktail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 3/4 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/3 c. crumbled saltine crackers
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    dash of hot pepper sauce
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. mace
    1 lb. raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1 hard-cooked egg
    parsley (for garnish)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Saute onion in butter until limp.
    Add all but shrimp, egg and parsley to the pan and simmer 15 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer an additional 3 minutes.
    Chop the egg and gently stir in.
    Spoon shrimp mixture into individual scallop shells or a 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake 15 minutes.
    Garnish with parsley to serve.
    Serves 6.
