Apricot Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dried apricots
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Soak apricots in warm water for 30 minutes.
Drain and chop. Mix with sugar.
Mix soft margarine and egg.
Stir in water and orange juice.
Sift and stir in flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Blend nuts and apricots and combine with batter.
Line greased pan with wax paper and let stand 20 minutes before baking. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Remove from pan and remove wax paper at once.
