White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream sugar and shortening together.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    In another bowl, blend flour, salt and baking powder.
    Next add flour mixture to wet mixture; add milk and vanilla.
    Place in greased and floured cake pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
