Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1/2 tsp. milk
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cook butter, sugar and dates over heat until mixture boils. Mix together eggs, milk, salt and vanilla.
    Add to the first mixture.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Cool and add nuts and Rice Krispies. Form into small balls and roll in coconut.
    Do not bake.
    They freeze well.
    Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
