Potato Bake Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 or 8 medium baking potatoes
1 large onion
1 c. mushrooms
1/2 c. margarine, melted
salt and pepper to taste
dash of garlic salt
dash of parsley flakes (optional)
Preparation

Wash and peel potatoes and cut in thin slices.
Place sliced potatoes in casserole dish which has been coated with spray shortening.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic and parsley.
Pour melted butter over this and place in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Thinly slice onion.
Mix onion and mushrooms together and spread over potato mixture.
Reduce oven temperature to 300\u00b0; cover casserole dish and bake an additional 30 minutes or until potatoes are soft and bubbly.
Sprinkle with parsley flakes.
Serve hot with or without sour cream.
A great side dish for almost any type of meat.
