White Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dried navy beans
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    4 ham hocks or 1 lb. salt meat
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    salt to taste
    1 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    In a large pot, put in white beans and enough water to cover. Heat until the water comes to a boil.
    Let stand for about 1 hour. Do not drain.
    Put more water, oil, onions and meat seasoning. Let cook on medium fire for about 2 hours or 3 hours or until beans are creamy and tender.
    Just before finished cooking, put in parsley.
