Ingredients

1 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
2 egg yolks, beaten (can reserve whites for meringue if desired)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine first three ingredients.
Gradually add milk, egg yolk and butter.
Cook on low heat until thick and pour into baked shell or graham cracker crust.
Whip egg whites until stiff.
Pour over pie and brown in oven, watching carefully.
Or cool pie and top with whipped cream.
