Mom'S Raisin Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. cooked raisins
Preparation
    Beat eggs; gradually add sugar, flour, salt and milk.
    Cook until thickened.
    Add butter, vanilla and cooked raisins.
    Pour into cooked pie crust.
    Add meringue made from 3 egg whites (beaten) to which 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar and 4 tablespoons sugar have been added.
    Put in a 350\u00b0 oven and brown.
