Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter, softened (2 sticks)
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie crust
whipped cream
Preparation

Use food processor or hand mixer.
Beat butter.
Add sugar. Melt chocolate and add to butter/sugar mixture.
Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Refrigerate for several hours before serving. Serve with whipped cream and sprinkle with shaved chocolate or cocoa.
Keep refrigerated.
