Aunt Betty'S Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 cucumbers
    3 grape leaves
    6 cloves garlic
    3 Tbsp. dill seed
    1/4 c. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    3 c. water
Preparation
    In bottom of each quart jar, put 1 grape leaf, 2 garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon dill seed.
    Slice cucumbers and put in jars. Cook salt, vinegar and water in a pot until boiling.
    Pour liquid over pickles.
    Seal and process 8 to 10 minutes, or until they change color.
    Makes 3 quarts.
