Chinese "Cha Shiv" Marinade - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 finely chopped garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/2 tsp. finely grated ginger root
4 tsp. soy sauce
4 tsp. honey
4 tsp. dry sherry
1/2 tsp. Chinese Five-Spice powder
4 tsp. chili sauce
4 to 6 pork chops, cut 1-inch thick (can use boneless pork loin)
Preparation

In a
small mixing bowl, combine garlic, pepper, ginger, soy sauce,
honey,
sherry,
Five-Spice powder and chili sauce. Mix well.
Trim all
but
1/2-inch
of fat from edges of chops. Place chops in marinade mixture.
Let stand for approximately 1 to 2 hours.
Place
chops in baking pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours, depending upon doneness, baste every 1/2 hour if desired.
