Ingredients

1/2 c. extra crunchy peanut butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add peanut butter and beaten egg; mix well.
Drop mixture by teaspoonful on cookie sheet.
Press down the tines of fork.
Sprinkle sugar on top and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
