Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and peanut butter.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Press with back of floured fork to make crisscross.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until light brown.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
