Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    salt
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Cook together cornstarch, sugar, water and salt until thick and clear.
    Cool.
    Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Continue beating while slowly pouring cooked mixture over egg whites.
    Beat 5 minutes.
    Place on top of pie or dessert.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until nicely browned.
