Beef Stew Ala Fitz - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. stew meat
    1 large onion
    1/2 lb. small fresh carrots
    4 to 6 potatoes
    2 ribs celery
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    In a small plastic bag, put flour, salt, pepper and chili powder.
    Add stew meat; shake to coat well.
    In heavy pan, heat oil.
    Add meat and brown.
    Cook meat at medium-low heat for 30 minutes.
    You will need to add water to meat occasionally.
    This will make a nice gravy.
    Add onion and celery; let cook for another 15 to 20 minutes, adding water as needed.
    Add carrots and potatoes; cook until tender, adding water as needed.
    Serves 6.
