Double Boiler Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 slices buttered bread
    2 c. whole milk
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    raisins (if you like them)
Preparation
    Into the top of a double boiler, put brown sugar, then put in the buttered bread, cut into cubes, about 3/4 of an inch square. Sprinkle with raisins.
