Danny'S French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Brown 'N Serve sausage patties
    1 (8 oz.) loaf Italian bread (about 16 inches long)
    1/4 lb. sliced Muenster cheese
    4 large eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salad oil
Preparation
    Prepare sausage as label directs; drain.
    Cut eight (1 1/2-inch thick) slices from bread.
    Cut a pocket into each.
    Fit cheese and sausage into pockets.
    Press together.
    In bowl, beat with a fork the eggs, milk and sugar.
    Add stuffed bread and turn.
    Heat small amount of salad oil in skillet over medium heat.
    Cook sandwiches about 10 minutes, until golden.
