Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. water
    6 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and butter; heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Add cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water.
    Cook until clear, 8 minutes.
    Add 6 tablespoons of lemon juice and lemon rind; cook 2 minutes.
    Beat egg yolks and milk; add slowly to mixture.
    Cook to boil.
    Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
