Pumpkin Bread(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 c. pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    2/3 c. nuts
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
    Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
    Mix well.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into two greased loaf pans.
    Bake one hour.
