Floating Crust Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fruit
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix fruit with 1 cup sugar; let stand.
    Melt butter in baking dish.
    Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; add milk.
    Pour batter over melted butter.
    Pour fruit over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
