Mixed Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cooked green beans, cooled
    1 gal. cut off corn, cooked before cutting off
    2 gal. chopped cabbage
    8 to 10 green tomatoes, chopped
    8 to 10 red and green sweet peppers
    salt (canning)
    vinegar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, tomatoes and peppers together.
    Add corn and beans.
    Pack into quart jars.
    Add 1 tablespoon salt and 1 teaspoon vinegar per quart jar.
    Fill with cold water.
    Seal and store in cool place.
    Makes 17 to 20 quarts.
