Perfect Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. sugar (optional)
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. corn meal (yellow or white)
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in corn meal. Add eggs, milk and oil. Beat until just smooth, about 1 minute. Pour into greased pan. Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
