Shrimp Creole(The Best!) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. shrimp (3 without tails)
chopped green onions to taste
2 c. celery
2 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. cooking oil
salt, black pepper and cayenne to taste
3 small cans tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 small can tomato paste (6 oz.)
2 cans whole tomatoes (regular)
1/2 c. ketchup
1 qt. hot water
Preparation

Peel and season shrimp; sit in fridge.
Put oil in heavy pot and put all vegetables except green onions and shrimp.
Put on medium heat in covered pan; let simmer for 40 minutes from first bubble.
Add water and season to taste.
Bring to boil again and let simmer 20 more minutes.
Drop in shrimp and green onions and bring to boil and cook 10 minutes.
Serve over rice.
