Italian Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. flour
    1 Tbsp. yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. oil or Crisco
    3 cups water (little more or less)
Preparation
    Dissolve 1 cup of water with 1 tablespoon yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar. Water should be quite warm.
    Put flour in large bowl.
    Add salt and oil or Crisco, 2 cups of warm water and last, add yeast mixture.
    Work and knead dough until smooth.
    Put dough in greased pan and cover.
    Put in warm area and let it raise about 2 hours. Punch down dough and form into loafs.
    Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds (if you like).
    Should raise in pans about 45 minutes to an hour.
