Louise Little'S Kentucky Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    4 eggs, separated
    3 3/4 Tbsp. hot water
    1 small can crushed pineapple and liquid
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix sugar, oil, egg yolks, hot water and pineapple thoroughly. Sift together dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.
    Fold in egg whites, well beaten.
    Fold in nuts.
    Pour into tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
