Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. scalded evaporated milk
3 egg yolks
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. milk
1 Tbsp. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix egg yolks, cornstarch, flour, sugar and 1/3 cup milk. Pour into scalded milk all at once.
Stir over heat until thick. Add coconut, vanilla and butter.
Pour into prebaked pie shell. Cover with meringue.
Sprinkle with a little coconut.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
