Aunt Abbie'S Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lard (I use crisco)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dark molasses
    1 egg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 Tbsp. ginger
    1 c. sour milk
    1 heaping tsp. soda
    enough flour to mold, 4-5 c.
Preparation
    Beat lard (or crisco) and sugar to a crumble. Add molasses, egg, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, milk and soda. Use enough flour to mold & roll into balls. Coat with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees.
