Smoked Sausage Supper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 Tbsp. oil
12 oz. fully cooked turkey sausage, skinned and cut in 1/2-inch slices
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 c. sliced celery
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian tomatoes
1 can beef broth
1 garlic clove, minced
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Drain pineapple, reserving liquid.
Set aside.
Heat oil and cook sausage, onion, pepper and celery until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Add tomatoes, broth, garlic, brown sugar and pepper; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Blend cornstarch and pineapple juice; stir into skillet.
Cook until thick.
Stir in pineapple chunks.
Serve over rice.
Makes 6 servings.
