Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Scald milk.
Mix all dry ingredients and dissolve with a little of the milk.
Add egg yolk and mix well.
Add the remaining milk and cook in double boiler until thickened, about 15 minutes. Cool; add vanilla and beaten egg white.
