Homemade Canned Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 quarts tomatoes, peeled and quartered
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. green pepper, chopped (optional)
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Wesson oil
    6 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. oregano
    2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except tomato paste, and cook 1 hour.
    Add the tomato paste and cook for 1 more hour.
    Cook slowly and stir often.
    Ladle into hot jars and seal.
    Process in hot water bath for about 15 minutes.
