Two Egg Treasure Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. less 2 Tbsp. milk
    2 unbeaten eggs
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into bowl.
    Drop in Crisco and add 2/3 cup of the milk and vanilla.
    Beat two minutes; scrape bowl.
    Lastly add unbeaten eggs and the remaining milk. Pour into 2 (8-inch) layer cake pans.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 375\u00b0, moderately hot oven.
