Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. apple pulp
    4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Wash and quarter apples.
    Use only about 1/2 of apple juice or apple cider.
    Cook over low heat until they are soft.
    Use food mill to separate the pulp from the peeling and seeds.
    Mix and cook over very low heat until all juice is cooked out.
    It will probably take several hours.
    Put in jars and seal.
