Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1 3/4 c. onions, chopped
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (1 lb.) carton sour cream
    1 stick margarine, melted
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. cornflakes or potato chips, crushed
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cornflakes or potato chips. Spread into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Put crushed corn flakes, or potato chips, over the top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
