What Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butterblend margarine
    1 1/2 c. unbleached flour (unsifted)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. minus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 large eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats and butter which has been broken into chunks.
    Stir until butter is melted.
    Sift flour with soda, cinnamon and salt.
    Add to oat mixture; mix well.
    Add sugars and eggs; mix well.
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan in preheated 375\u00b0 oven about 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Top with Broiled-On Topping.
    Serves 10.
