Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 cloves garlic
    3 lb. shrimp
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    5 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 to 4 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    1 (8 oz.) box vermicelli, prepared according to directions on box
Preparation
    Mince garlic.
    Shell and devein shrimp, removing tails also. In a large frying pan, melt butter in the oil over medium-high heat.
    Add garlic; cook for about 30 to 45 seconds.
    Add shrimp; cook for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and parsley; toss until shrimp are thoroughly coated.
    Serve immediately over prepared vermicelli.
    Makes 6 servings.
