Sue'S Western Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. soda
    2 c. golden raisins
    2 c. boiling water
    4 eggs
    4 c. Nabisco 100% Bran Buds
    3 tsp. salt
    1 qt. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine shortening with boiling water and cool.
    Mix with remaining ingredients until blended.
    Spoon into greased or paper lined muffin tins.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes (a little longer if direct from refrigerator).
    Keeps in refrigerator for 6 to 7 weeks.
    Makes 6 or 7 dozen.
